I may or may not be knitting while doing my social studies homework. I’ve decided not to care, and it’s already made my life better.
Still Alive
Hey guys! I’m sorry I haven’t posted in awhile- it’s been a long week, and time got away from me. I do things other than knitting (I need to get my priorities straight) and blogging about it, and those things take time away from my time in this space. I’ve been working really hard on a short story and some poetry, and the short story has proven incredibly difficult (although still not as difficult as Traveling Woman
).I’ve also been trying really hard to finish my wips so I can start that sweater.
Oh, and I guess I have some mittens to show you.
Good pictures with natural light and where my hair looks good will be up this weekend. (and this time, I mean that.) I pulled an all-nighter to finish them last night, and they are truly warm and lovely.
Wow, with this achievement high, I may even work on Traveling Woman. You know, at least until something shiny distracts me.
Hey! Look! New sock yarn!
Just a picture, for now
No time to talk: lots of homework! Who needs the Cartesian plane? I mean, really.
Here’s a nice picture of my knitting basket.
Last Day
Today is the last day before I have to go back to school! *sob* Luckily for the blog, I have this fancy mobile blogging app, so I can continue pampering you with semi-consistent posts!
You in the corner there. Act more excited. ![]()
Anyway, unless the parents need me for trip prep (they’re going to Manzanita, Oregonfor the week) I think I’ll spend most of my day cleaning my room (nothing serious), swatching for my Designers Challenge entry, and knitting on my Bella’s mittens.
I think that sounds like a pretty decent day, don’t you think?
I’ll leave you with a nice pretty picture of the view from my window. Have a great last day of break!
